Bummer!I've been mentioning now and then to David that there's "something going on" with the tile in our bathroom shower. Well, once I mentioned that I think there is actually a bulge going on, he looked more closely while showering this a.m.
So, now we've begun the likely lengthy task of repairing the shower.... there is obviously damage under there... the cement backer-board wasn't installed high enough up from the floor. I'm going to look into what SHOULD have been done on "diynetwork"... they'll tell us!
Later on.... yes, David is doing more demo-work. Maybe all those hours/days/weeks/months of watching home improvement shows last summer during back surgery recovery will pay off!
See the 6 tiles on the lower right area in the photo above? There's some odd color-change to them, that is the 90 degree 'other wall' of the corner shower. Not a very good sign.

Wow, that's good that he can figure it out. It looks like it could have been well hidden, so good eye thinking about it. Is there any mold to worry about? I've heard it can be unhealthy if it is. Good luck!
